AZ Screen Recorder is an app that enables you to record anything happening on the screen of your Android device without having to connect the device.  But you will need Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later, otherwise you will not be able to run the application.

  AZ Screen Recorder has a simple and elegant interface.  When turned on, you'll find four icons in the middle of the screen: one to start recording, one to change application settings, one to access the Recorded Videos folder, and finally to exit.  With the app settings, you can also choose the quality of the video playback or see the interactions that happen on the screen while recording.

  Once recording starts, a red dot will appear in the lower right corner of the screen and it will start flashing.  Click again to stop recording, and if you continue to click and drag it, you can move the red dot in any direction on the screen.
